SHOCKER BOWLING
ATHLETICS
Wichita State is home to the most accomplished collegiate
bowling program in the nation with a record 23 men's and women's
national championships. Since 1975, 65 Shocker bowlers have
competed for the U.S. National Team, with a handful of alumni
on the Professional Bowler's Association tour. As of fall 2024,
women’s bowling competes at the NCAA Division I level.

SHOCKER ROWING
Shocker Rowing has been making waves in the Midwest for almost
fifty years. Our programs offer opportunities to all Shockers,
whether it is on our competitive team or as a recreational rower.
Whether new to the sport or an experienced youth rower, you have
the chance to compete from the local to national level.
If you are looking for a true challenge and a program that is
designed to help you excel, then see what we have to offer. We
build champions. Additionally, Shocker Rowing proudly coordinates
the university's Boats and Bikes venue, bringing outdoor health
and fitness activities to the downtown river corridor through kayak,
pedal boat, bike and scooter rentals.

WICHITA STATE ESPORTS
Wichita State Esports is the official varsity esports program of the
university, supporting student-athletes in competitive teams and
staff volunteers through applied learning for both undergraduate
and graduate level students.
Currently supported teams include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
II, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate,
and Valorant. Wichita State Esports is a member of the National
Association of Collegiate Esports and participates in intercollegiate
competition through the NACE Starleague. To connect, follow

SPORT CLUBS
Sport Clubs offer students a way to train and/or compete at a high
level. Sport Clubs are organized and run by students, though some
do have coaches/instructors. Some clubs travel to compete in
regional and national competitions, while others stay on campus
and are instructional. Our Sports Clubs include men's and women's
volleyball, men's and women's soccer, table tennis, waterski &
wakeboard, barbell, shooting sports, disc golf, baseball, ultimate
frisbee, cricket, bass fishing, tennis club, Wichita State Student
Officials Association, taekwondo, gaming, golf, wrestling club, and
basketball club.
